July 1997–Present       Owner/Developer of MacConsulting providing consulting services for Filemaker, Web, Mac OS X, Networking, and other services. Clients include Alcon International, Safeway, UCSF, IREI, CANHR, and many others.

Apr. 1997–July 1997       Cybernautics, Sausalito Director of Network Operations for an Internet startup. Managing the technical implementation of the firm as it grows from 40 to 85 employees. Planning the network backbone and implementation of Windows 95 and Macintosh on the desktop with Unix-based and Windows NT based servers supporting the Infrastructure. 

Jan. 1994–Mar.1997       StudioArchetype, San Francisco MIS Director for this award-winning design firm, formerly Clement Mok Designs. Managed the technical abilities of the firm as it grew from 24 to 85 employees. Administered transition to a Unix/Intranet based network system. Implemented technical basis for Internet/Intranet on SGI workstations with Netscape and Webstar servers running on Macs. Established Internet connection at 56K and transitioned to full T1 connection. Developed the infrastructure for all users and established network delivery systems. Successfully executed Web software, SMTP Popmail running on UNIX and Intranet systems running on Macs and SGIs.

Aug. 1992–Dec. 1993     ZD labs of Ziff-Davis Communications, Foster City Project Leader specializing in cross-platform capabilities. Responsible for testing scanners, color printers, and high-resolution laser printers in both Windows and Macintosh platforms. Consultant with major magazines for electronic pre-press issues. Published in MacWeek, MacUser, and Windows Sources in 1993.

1991–1992          Courier Companies, San Mateo Production Manager of new pre-press branch for this large Eastern printing company. Supervised purchase and installation of high-end computer equipment for both Macintosh and DOS based electronic pre-press Installed Ethertalk network. Hired and trained full staff.

1989–1991          MedChoice Warehouse Club, Oakland Production Manager responsible for management of graphics department. Initiated in-house graphics department for corporate headquarters. Supported growth of chain from 2 to 7 stores in 18 months. Managed production for catalogues, tabloid mailers, brochures, trade publication ads, and convention displays.

1988–1989         The Hunger Project, San Francisco Print Manager in charge of graphic production and all levels of print management. Implemented use of Macintosh for all graphic production. Designed computerized management system to track all production and graphic archives using Microsoft Works, Excel and HyperCard.

1986–1988         Adams & Associates, Berkeley Macintosh System Manager, implemented use of Macintosh to enhance both business and production systems for graphic design firm. Managed all incoming projects.

1973–75            University of California, Irvine. Majored in political science with an emphasis in community relations and Polimetrics, the application of statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, game theory and other quantitative scientific methods to explore political phenomena.
